EXHIBITIONS THAT I HAVE PARTICIPATED IN

"HOME IS WHERE THE ART IS"
ZEITZ MOCAA, CAPE TOWN WATERFRONT
November 2020-September 2021
This is an exhibition where Zeitz MOCAA invited artists from all over Cape Town (and surrounds) to enter their work as a response to Cape Town as a city and to relay something of their experience of this diverse and layered city. I submitted the work pictured left and was glad to be part of such a diverse mix of work and skills.

"IN CONVERSATION WITH COLOUR SYMPHONY"
May 2021-September 2021
This exhibition is in essence a call for artists to respond to the work of Michelle Nigrini who painted works that are an exploration of colour using observational drawings of her garden as a means to explore colour and colour relations. Three of my works were selected for this exhibition to be displayed as a triptych (one is pictured left)

In Between Sites, In Between Others
October 28 2024 - November 2 2024
This was an interactive exhibition created as part of the public facing showcase aspect of the Final Major Project module of the Falmouth University Fine Arts MA (online) course.

The exhibition included both sculpture and paintings (or expanded paintings) which could be moved around by the viewers interacting with the exhibition.

The event was facilitated at an international school in China and students ranging from 5 (Kindergarten) to 11 (grade 5) were given the chance to interact with the exhibition thus changing the layout as they saw fit.

The project embraced using materials found in every day life such as packaging and plastics as a form of queer materiality.
